2015 Garden Dinner
Sunday, October 25, 2015

Theodore Judah has a thriving Science and Garden program that prides itself on being a "green school", teaching sustainability, a strong emphasis on food literacy and inspiring our 635 students to give back to the community. Each year we host a Farm-to-Fork fundraiser to raise funds to sustain our PTA funded Science and Garden program. This year our PTA reached out to Saint John's Program for Real Change to form a partnership allowing the students at Judah to contribute to the rebuilding efforts of their garden at Plates Cafe AND have them join us in our Farm-to-Fork Fundraiser. This unique and special partnership will benefit both programs equally and bring awareness to both programs vision in the Greater Sacramento region.

From August-October we are working to re-plant the gardens with the help of the children and their mothers at Saint John's and help provide education to the families about nutrition and healthy eating habits. This partnership has inspired many outside of our organizations to get involved, we hope you'll consider attending our culminating event in the new garden at Plates Cafe!
